“Designed exclusively for the National Gallery by renowned toy
makers, JellyCat.
This wonderful cuddly lion was inspired by the imposing lion
statues guarding the base of Nelson’s Column in London’s
Trafalgar Square, just outside the gallery.
Smaller (and squashier!) than the original lions sculpted by Sir
Edwin Landseer, this beautiful soft toy was created using the
finest materials. His coat is made from a wonderfully tactile,
textured plush and his mane and tail are as soft as they are
magnificent.
Best of all, he has a friendlier expression than his stone
