I am a Jellyfriend, collector and avid fan of all their lovely designs. I created this site as a way to share information for other collectors.
I’ve been collecting since 2011 and my passion for Jellycat has grown throughout the years. My enthusiasm led me to join Facebook groups for Jellyfriends, using my personal knowledge to make friends and help the community. I have been a Jellycat Product Expert in the retail sector, offering my expertise to encourage connections with customers and analyze trends to maximize effective buying.
The idea for this website came from helping Jellyfriends identify Jellies on Facebook groups. I was inspired by Bashful Bunnies, who is a dear friend and the leading fan authority on Jellycat Bashful Bunny designs. With their encouragement, I started this site in 2020.
Initially, my goal was to help people identify their Jellycat designs. While that is still a huge part of what I do, I have been working on adding pages with all information that I can find about each style.
I have been adding individual designs to the website, with the aim is to be as comprehensive as possible. After speaking with other Jellyfriends, I added information that everyone wanted when searching a design: a full range of stock pictures, official descriptions, and release and retire dates. The specificity of the information is paramount, with time and care taken to make sure each design has been fully researched. I am invested in quality over quantity, and take requests on which designs I add to the database.
